The Service
Wireless BITS is a None Line Of Sight wireless broadband
residential Internet Access service delivering to your computer
a high throughput up to 512 Kbps.
The Hardware
To get connected, you must obtain the Customer Premises
Equipment Unit (CPE) also known as the wireless modem that
allows you to connect to Cyberia’s network to send and receive
data. All you need is an electricity plug and a PC equipped with
a Network Interface Card (NIC) or LAN port.
Here and There
Wireless BITS is a portable service. The modem is a 24cm x 17cm
x 3cm box that you can take with you wherever you go and use it
in all areas covered by the service.
Service Delivery
Once you purchase the CPE, you can start using the Wireless BITS
services immediately. All you need to do is to connect your unit
to your PC, turn it on and browse. The default page will guide
you through the first time subscription process.
